International size charts
Countries don't just use different numbers — they measure different things. Shoes in Korea, Japan and China are labeled with foot length in mm or cm, while the US, UK and Europe use numbers derived from the length of the shoe last. For clothing, Korea uses chest circumference directly as the size, whereas Europe uses half the chest circumference minus a fixed amount.
The four charts below bring these different systems together on a single reference measurement (foot length; chest and waist; inner ring circumference; height) and show them side by side. Each chart explains which standards and conventions it follows and which values are approximate.
